Dave Brown leads design for AI services and Generative AI at Amazon Web Services. He manages a team of 35+ UX designers, supporting over 30 AI/ML services that enable enterprise use cases. Dave’s mission is to unlock the creative potential of others and help create the conditions for their success, including sharing methods and insights at events like the AI Bootcamp for UX Teams.
Greg Nudelman is a UX Designer, Strategist, Speaker, and Author. For over 20 years, he has been helping his Fortune 100 clients like Cisco, IBM, and Intuit to create loyal customers and generate $100s of millions in additional valuation. A veteran of 32 AI projects, Greg is currently a Distinguished Designer at Sumo Logic, creating innovative AI/ML solutions for Security, Network, and Cloud Monitoring. Greg presented 100+ keynotes and workshops in 18 countries and authored 5 UX books and 24 patents. His latest book, ‘UX for AI’ is coming in 2024.
Dr. Mike Oren heads up the Intelligence Design team at Klaviyo, responsible for all experiences that leverage data to help customers make smarter marketing decisions leveraging analytics and Al. With an undergrad in computer science from DePauw University where he initially learned to program basic Al models and a PhD in human-computer interaction from lowa State University that included an Al course on computer vision and other pattern recognition algorithms. He has worked on Al experiences in industry for a decade and teaches data literacy and evidence based design at Illinois Institute of Technology's Institute of Design (ID).
Brandon Harwood is a design and strategy leader exploring technology that empowers creativity and collaboration. At IBM Innovation Studio, he builds cross-disciplinary, radically collaborative workshops that guide teams in thinking creatively and strategically to address complex challenges in emerging technology and business. Additionally, he advises research and design teams, helping them develop internal frameworks and shape public discourse concerning AI design methods and systems that augment creative action, collaboration, communication, and decision-making.
On the third day, we had case study presentations with meticulously chosen AI innovators who bring extensive expertise in human-centered solutions. They are leaders in their field, offering you valuable insights and inspiration for your own work.
Stefan is an AI Architect at HubSpot, leading the UX for HubSpot’s AI platform efforts. Stefan guides AI efforts across product groups such as monetization, pricing, packaging, global UX AI patterns, success of AI adoption.
Jesse Kulp is a UX and product design leader specializing in AI-powered experiences that are both human-centered and technically robust. Currently driving research and design at Google DeepMind, Jesse previously led the UX team behind AI Studio and the Gemini API, one of Google’s most advanced developer platforms. His career spans influential roles at Splunk, BMC Software, and as an instructor at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. With a background in data analytics and HCI from NYU and a passion for ethical AI, Jesse blends deep technical understanding with a sharp design sensibility. Sean Barclay is a Lead Product Designer at Twelve Labs, leading the user experience design of an AI-powered video intelligence platform for enterprises. Sean is a proven product design leader, design technologist, strategist, manager, mentor, and motion graphic artist based in San Francisco, California. He’s led distributed multi-disciplinary product design teams at Google, IBM, and Charles Schwab, as well as development teams at Isobar.
Tami McBride is a seasoned design leader with over 20 years of experience and currently leads the Platform AI design team at ServiceNow, shaping the future of both generative and agentic AI experiences. She is dedicated to crafting responsible, human-centered AI solutions that drive business value, empower users, and integrate seamlessly across the platform. Outside of work, Tami actively mentors aspiring designers and leaders, helping to advance the broader design and AI communities.
Tony is the CESO of General Lithium and a seasoned systems engineer, DevSecOps leader, and public speaker with experience at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and defense. Prior to founding General Lithium, he worked on classified software systems and Kubernetes platforms for the U.S. Air Force. He’s passionate about turning cutting-edge technology into deployable, real-world solutions that improve how people interact with hardware and energy systems.
With over a decade of experience in user-centered design and emerging technology, Haley brings clarity to complex healthcare systems through design strategy and innovation. At Tempus AI, she drives innovation at the intersection of healthcare, data, and AI. She holds an MFA from Parsons, is a certified Conversation Designer, and has applied her strategic design expertise at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Women in Voice, advancing inclusivity in tech.
With 15+ years in B2B, data SaaS platform design, Carin brings a focus to making complex data approachable through thoughtful, user-centered design, and clear storytelling. Carin holds a Master’s in Human-Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington, is a named inventor on a predictive modeling patent, and created the “Superfishel Stone” color palette for Tableau.
Mavis Hu is an AI product designer at Wild Zebra, where she leads the design of conversational learning tools for K5–K8 students. Her work blends natural language interaction, gamification, and generative AI to create personalized educational experiences. With prior agency experience designing for clients like TSMC and Audi, Mavis brings a unique perspective shaped by her background in international business and human-computer interaction. She also hosts HCI Insiders, a podcast featuring conversations with design leaders from CMU, UW, and the tech industry.
